HISTORY & SCOPE

International Manufacturing Conference in China (IMCC) is an international academic conference organized originally by some key universities in China and Hong Kong Polytechnic University every two years. Since 1983, the conference has been successfully held for sixteen times. The topics of IMCC have been expanded to a wider variety of research fields in the advanced manufacturing technology. From 15th IMCC, the conference is sponsored permanently by the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society (CMES) and the International Academy for Production Engineering (CIRP).

The 17th IMCC 2017

A number of projects with excellent progresses supported by NSFC will be reported and exhibited during the conference. Special events will be included in this conference: symposium for South Korean scholars, symposium for Chinese and Japanese scholars on ultra-precision processing, symposiums for CPEI’s professional branches (professional committees of precision engineering, cutting technology, measuring and testing techniques, precise assembly, etc.), symposium for mechanical engineering education, round table conference for intelligent manufacturing. Besides, the participants will be organized to visit the high technology enterprises and institutions in Shenzhen. Academic researchers and industrial practitioners worldwide will come together for the interchange of the latest developments and applications in manufacturing technologies.
