International Manufacturing Conference in China (IMCC) is an academic conference held every two years and organized originally by some key universities in China and Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Since 1983, the conference has been successfully held for fifteen times. The topics of IMCC have been expanded from metal cutting and grinding to a wider variety of research fields in the advanced manufacturing technology. From 15th IMCC, the conference is sponsored by the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society (CMES) permanently and by the International Academy for Production Engineering (CIRP). Academic researchers and industrial practitioners from Various countries and regions of the world such as mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea, Germany, Japan, USA, UK, Israel, and Singapore come together for the interchange of the latest developments and applications in manufacturing technologies.
