HISTORY & SCOPE

International Manufacturing Conference in China (IMCC) is an academic conference held every two years and organized originally by some key universities in China and Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Since 1983, the conference has been successfully held for fifteen times. The topics of IMCC have been expanded from metal cutting and grinding to a wider variety of research fields in the advanced manufacturing technology. From 15th IMCC, the conference is sponsored by the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society (CMES) permanently and by the International Academy for Production Engineering (CIRP). Academic researchers and industrial practitioners from Various countries and regions of the world such as mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea, Germany, Japan, USA, UK, Israel, and Singapore come together for the interchange of the latest developments and applications in manufacturing technologies.

The 16th IMCC 2015

The 16th International Manufacturing Conference in China (IMCC 2015) will be held in Hangzhou, China on October 22-25, 2015, organized by IMCC Steering Committee, Production Engineering Institution of CMES 、 Zhejiang University of Technology and Beijing Dumi Culture & Arts Development Co,.Ltd. IMCC 2015 will continue to promote the discipline development and research collaborations, and to foster the growth of young engineers and researchers in the field. The AREAS OF INTEREST covers Advanced Manufacturing Technology and Equipment, Material Forming Science and Technology, Digital Manufacturing System and Management, Modern Design Theory and Methodology, Ultra-precision Manufacturing and other related areas in manufacturing. Furthermore, a number of projects with excellent progresses supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) will be reported and exhibited during the conference.
